What is iTayoHub?
iTayoHub is a local-commerce platform project. It aims to connect shops and customers through business profiles, products, promotions and WhatsApp conversations.
Will customers be able to order around the clock?
Yes. Once the service opens, our agents will answer customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can take orders at any time for available products and current promotions from your approved shop, even when it is closed. Preparation, pickup and delivery will follow your opening hours and confirmed time slots.
Who can apply to register a shop?
The owner or someone authorized to represent the business can prepare an application. The team will check the information, service area and applicable conditions before approving a profile.
What information should I prepare?
Your first and last name, email, WhatsApp number, shop name and location. Also prepare your business category, pickup address, a 50-character slogan and a 255-character description.
How will my contact details be verified?
Once registration opens, you will send a verification message from your WhatsApp number, then confirm your email through a link. These checks do not replace the team’s review of your shop.
Will my email and phone number be public?
Initially, the contacts used for the application will also be your shop’s contacts. They may be published to introduce your business. You will be informed before confirming and can request a later change.
When can I add products and promotions?
Product and promotion uploads will follow shop approval. Publication will be controlled: offers must be authorized, available and up to date. Shopping remains closed while the launch is being prepared.
How will agents coordinate deliveries?
Agents will help coordinate delivery with the customer, your shop and available partners, within the service area and agreed time slots. You can nominate your preferred delivery service or usual driver, subject to verification. Round-the-clock assistance does not mean deliveries will take place at every hour.
How will payments be handled?
Agents can record a customer’s intention to pay and coordinate the arrangements alongside the order and delivery. A payment intention does not confirm that payment has been received. Integration with local payment service providers will be added in a later phase. Prices, conditions and any applicable fees will be communicated before you make a commitment.
How are iTayoHub, Hubby and Cherry connected?
iTayoHub is the platform, and Hubby assists with local-commerce journeys. Cherry is for auctions. Currently supported countries: Cameroon. Applying for an iTayoHub shop does not automatically grant access to sell on Cherry.
